Product Description
Another mineral which has long been used by humans, carved Tourmaline specimens have been found which predate Christ by three centuries. Dutch traders took advantage of electrically charged Tourmaline to pull ashes from their pipes, as this mineral exhibits both pyroelectricity and piezoelectricity. Tourmaline has one of the broadest color palettes within the mineral kingdom, and can feature multiple colors in one specimen. The name comes from the Sinhalese word "turamali" which means "something small from the earth." A general feature of all Tourmaline is the ability to transform dense energy to a higher vibration, with further specific features related to particular colors.
