Moldavite

Moldavite is a tektite, or piece of meteoric glass, whose appearance coincindes with the crash of a large meteorite on earth nearly 15 million years ago. The impact from the crash helped form the Bohemian Plateau and surrounding mountains, in the former Czechoslovakia. Moldavite has been found in neolithic graves which are at least 25,000 years old. Moldavite is seen by many as linked with the legendary Holy Grail; in some versions of this legend the Grail is carved out of and emerald that "fell from the sky." It is known that the ancients used the word "emerald" to refer to all clear green glass, and moldavite is a clear green glass with origins in the sky. Moldavite and the Holy Grail are both said to accelerate one's personal evolutionary journey. It should not come into contact with salt, as it has a more fragile composition than other naturally-occurring glass.
