Koroit Boulder Opal

Koroit ironstone boulders are formed in the earth through a long chemical process and then partially dehydrated, developing cracks in the Australian desert. Silica solutions flow into the cracks, and in a percentage of these boulders opal is produced. In the finest koroit boulder opal specimens you see neon fire! This exciting stone provides a connection to the stars, it is said, enhances mental clarity, and can clear up stuffy, stagnant auras.
