Variety is the name of the game here! These ouro verde double terminated points range from deep green-gold to smoky to clear. This group runs from about 56-76mm in length, 15-20mm in width, with the points photographed merely an example of what the larger group looks like.

Ouro Verde Quartz starts out as Metamorphosis Quartz which has been mined at Minas Gerais, Brazil. This special quartz is then taken to a laboratory where it is exposed to gamma radiation. There is no residual radiation left in the stone, which now has the distinctive green-gold color.
